From Canada, Kent Ley leads Monark Teknologies with a simple conviction: the best digital products don’t shout. They prevail. He designs and launches systems end to end — from Milele, a platform born of the need to pass on what truly matters, to Aurea Clavis, a legal tool he founded to bring order and clarity to a field too often opaque.

Beyond his own products, he works with brands and businesses — from events to beauty — with the same quiet standard. Interfaces that breathe, solid architectures, and the rare discipline of leaving nothing to chance.

03 — Selected works

Questions

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope. As a guide, brand sites start at $5,000, internal tools at $7,000 and platforms at $12,000 (CAD, before taxes). The quote tool gives you a detailed estimate in two minutes; the final price follows a discovery call.

How long does it take?

Usually 3 to 12 weeks depending on the product: a brand site takes a few weeks, a complete platform a few months. Every estimate comes with a schedule broken down into discovery, design, build and launch.

How does payment work?

The suggested schedule is 40% at signature, 40% at beta delivery and 20% at launch. Amounts are in Canadian dollars, taxes extra.

Who owns the code and the design?

You do. The intellectual property of the deliverables is transferred to you upon final payment.

What happens after launch?

Launch includes 30 days of corrective warranty. You can then choose a maintenance plan — Essential ($150/month), Priority ($350/month) or Partner ($600/month) — or none at all.

Which technologies do you use?

Mainly Next.js, React and TypeScript, with Supabase for data and authentication and Vercel for hosting. The stack is chosen for each project, for speed, security and long-term maintainability.

Can the site be bilingual?

Yes. French and English are standard at Monark, with proper SEO for each language.

Who will I work with?

Directly with Kent Ley, Product Owner and founder, from the first call to launch. No hand-offs, no lost information.

How is my information protected?

Information you share is used only to answer your request and prepare your project, in line with Quebec’s Law 25 and our privacy policy.
